I have been working on A LOT of art lately. I have got the burning passion for drawing again. After how well received the drawing of the Kämpfer I did and the colours that did and the fabulous response to that, I have been feeling pretty confident again. I haven't felt that way about my art in a long time. I never felt really confident about drawing Mechs in general but really gave me a lot of great advice from both his art book and he and I talking back and forth. Thanks a bunch Dave!

The latest Mech piece I am working on is from the game called Armored Core For Answer. The AC is called Stasis and its pilot is Otsdarva. I bought the model of it recently and I thought it looked so damed cool that I wanted to draw it up right away. This is by far the most detail intensive piece I have ever done. There are so many fine details all over the AC model that its not even funny. As I have been drawing this I am reminded of Alex Milne's crazy OCD detailed artwork and I don't ever wanna get like that to where I get obsessed over too many minor details, like do I need a panel here or what have you. Sometimes less is more. So while Drawing Otsdarva I will likely omit a few details here and there, just to give me a less of a headache for one, and secondly, I wanna do some experimenting with different techniques I have been learning over the last few months.

This is my 'To Do' list:

Finish Otsdarva.
Work on more Portrait art, including a cover design for my cousins Gospel group.

Finish building and drawing Sazabi. I am making a couple of changes to Sazabi when I put it down on paper. I plan to make a 'Sleeves' variant with two Kämpfer guards. Yes I know that in Gundam Unicorn that Kämpfers are severely outdated, but I am gonna make some sensible design changes that will make them fit right in. Besides, the Kämpfer is cool as hell.

Practice digital colouring. This is one area I am sorely lacking in. If any of you out there know of a good book for me to read up on this I will be very appreciative.

And lastly I am gonna work on some fan art for various things including Tron and Transformers.
